CONSUMER ALERT **** SHIPLUX AUTO TRANSPORTERS
A warning to consumers regarding SHIPLUX. This company is under investigation for felony criminal violation of California Penal Code Section 632 and facing a lawsuit for same misconduct in California.
SHIPLUX was also retained to transport a vehicle from New York to California. When the car didn't arrive as promised, it took reporting this matter to the New York Police Department as as STOLEN VEHICLE to finally get Shiplux get the car delivered.
Shiplux representative is very disrespectful and has done everything he can to remove posts on social media.
We highly recommend doing your research and using a shipper you can trust and rely on.

n the the days before the internet, the only source to combat poor business practices were shows like "Fight Back", news paper and major media.
Since the birth of the internet, the public has found that they can communicate directly with each other and no longer need to rely on mass media to fight back. Big corporate censorship has taken a back seat.... or has it?
Then came the birth of online review sites. Companies fear the effective weapon of online sites and social media. Companies such as Trip Adviser and YELP have become household names that we thought we could rely on and trust as a reliable source for customer reviews. We thought these sites were repositories of information that are not censored.
What is the real story behind Yelp? After all, why would they sink all of the money into a "free blog" and what do they have to gain? The truth is starting to surface. The fact is.. Yelp Censors. They have established business relationships with companies that utilize and depend on Yelp reviews to generate more business. It is a mutual relationship. This leads to censorship of poor reviews, even when they are justified and accurate.
There are many stories by people that faced account closure because they posted a negative review. Even our own YELP account was closed after posting a valid and confirmed negative review of a company.
While we don't yet know how Yelp benefits with their relationship with these establishments - we are about to find out. And when we do, we will post our update her and issue a press release to major media sources. We have close connections with large networks and look forward to sharing our story once this case is investigated.
We are seeking to hear stories from others who have been CENSORED by Yelp. In the mean time, we are recommending that people BOYCOTT Yelp and move their loyalty to other review sites such as Yelp-Uncensored.com.
OPTICONTACTS.COM UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR CONSUMER FRAUD
Online rip off company "OPTICONTACTS.COM" is under investigation for consumer fraud. Their scheme involves false advertising and unfair business practices by luring in victims with lowest price ads for contacts. After successfully getting customers into their "funnel" - they work them through entering all of their personal information, prescription information and credit card information. Then suddenly they sneak in a $85-$90.00 shipping/handling fee hoping the victims don't see the scam. Even if they do, by that time they are so committed its not worth starting over to find a different vendor.
OptiContacts doesn't have a presence in the USA. They operate their scam from another country to avoid prosecution. They have fake address set up in the state of Washington. Representatives from that location confirmed OptiContacts has no employees or staff at that location and that location is simply a mailing address.
If you have been ripped off by OptiContacts, please contact California Judicial Investigations. Your complaint may be included in a class-action lawsuit against OptiContacts.
TRUSTPILOT N0T SO TRUSTWORTHY
A review site with a checkered history once again is under fire for taking down valid reviews. In the latest round, California Judicial Investigations posted a consumer fraud alert about OptiContacts' illegal "bait & switch" business tactics. As anticipated, Opticontacts.com shot off a threatening message to TrustPilot demanding that the review be taken down. TrustPilot punted and took the review down over CALJI's objections.
It is interesting to note that TrustPilot carries itself to be a fair review site that gives reviews that its subscribers can "trust". The lack of transparency and reliability leaves something to be desired. A review of TrustPilot's own reviews demonstrates a pattern of censorship.
It should also be noted that TrustPilot provides no presence in the USA; no phones; no addresses and operates what appears to be a below radar "company" out of Denmark. Why are we not surprised. If you are looking for a "trustworthy" review site, close the TrustPilot and look for a reputable website.
ZERO stars for TrustPilot also known as "untrustpilot". Just sayn'!!
